Dutch journalist jailed in Turkey for the second time

Turkish police have arrested Dutch journalist Frederike Geerdink for the second time this year, Hurriyet Daily News reports. In January, Turkish prosecutors charged Geerdink with producing “terrorist propaganda” on behalf of the PKK. She was acquitted in Arpil. Geerdink’s second arrest comes just days after Turkish police arrested two British Vice News journalists and charged them with “working on behalf of a terrorist organization.”
