Bulgaria fails to adopt key anti-corrupion law

The Bulgarian parliament failed to pass a law the would create an anti-corruption bureau, EU Observer reports. Bulgaria, like Romania, is under EU monitoring because of organized crime and high-level corruption. Romania, though, has created an anti-corruption bureau, which has recently prosecuted numerous high-ranking officials. Bulgarian Prime Minister Boiko Borisov vows to resubmit the bill in the three months.
