Turkey bombs ISIS

After months of holding out, Turkey has now carried out air strikes against the Islamic State in Syria. Ankara will also let the U.S. use its Incirlik air force base, which Washington had requested since the start of its air strike campaign against IS. Ankara’s tune toward ISIS changed this week after a suspected IS recruit killed 32 people in a suicide bombing, and a cross-border firefight left one Turkish soldier dead.
