Russian journalist arrested after exposing election fraud

A Russian journalist took part in a vote rigging effort in which Putin’s United Russia party paid people to cast two separate votes in two separate polling stations. Denis Korotkov, a correspondent for St. Petersburg-based site Fontanka.ru, filmed the election fraud. Russian authorities then arrested Korotkov and charged him with election fraud, The Moscow Times reports. Police have not arrested any of the other participants in the scheme.
