Balkan Insight runs a piece detailing the talk of war that has surfaced in the Balkans in the lead-up to Sunday’s referendum in Republika Srpska. Bosnian Muslim threats against Bosnian Serbs have led to Serbian media and high-level Serbian officials discussing the possibility of war with Bosnia. Additionally, Zagreb is even discussing coming to the defense of Croats in Bosnia. Some analysts, however, accuse the Bosnian Serb government of stirring up all of the nationalist rhetoric as an election ploy.
