Erdogan fights for his throne by battling Kurds — but will voters buy it?

Andrew Finkel, a journalist who has been based in Istanbul for more than 20 years, writes a Reuters op-ed stating Erdogan is creating chaos in Turkey in order to get his way. But, voters do not seem to be buying Erdogan’s arguments for changing Turkey’s government from a parliamentary system to a presidential one. Rather than winning back its majority in the upcoming snap election, Erodgan’s AKP may lose even more of its plurality, Finkel writes.
