EU Observer covers the FIFA scandal, which has prompted increasingly calls for Russia to lose its right to host the 2018 World Cup. On Wednesday, the U.S. Justice Department indicted nine FIFA officials on racketeering charges. It is suspected that Russia, as well as Qatar, bribed FIFA officials in order to win the bids for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
