Will Republika Srpska’s national day referendum herald a vote on independence from Bosnia?

A bne IntelliNews piece states, following the holiday referendum in Republika Srpska, Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik is gaging the reactions of Bosnian and international officials to determine what he can get away with in the future. If Dodik faces little pushback from the international community, he may grow confident enough to call a referendum on secession from Bosnia. However, Dodik may also conclude that he would maintain more power as the leader of the Serb entity within Bosnia than he would if Republika Srpska were to break away and become a rogue state or merely a part of Serbia.
