Two years following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, John Herbst and Alina Polyakova of the Atlantic Council write it is time for western leaders to stop using euphemisms and to say publicly that Russia invaded and occupied a sovereign nation. Herbst is a former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine.
