Balkan countries spy potential in Chinese tourism

Tourism ministers and experts from the 16 Central and Eastern European countries met with their Chinese counterparts this week in attempt to lure more tourists from China to the region, Balkan Insight reports. Both Serbia and Bosnia waived visa requirements for Chinese tourists and have seen sharp increases in arrivals. However, Croatia is drawing the most Chinese tourists — 160,000 arrivals in 2017 — among Balkan states.
