U.S. congressional press office yanks RT’s credentials

The Executive Committee of the Congressional Radio & Television Correspondents’ Galleries voted unanimously to strip Russian state-funded RT of its U.S. Capitol press credentials, CNN reports. The move follows Washington requiring RT to register as a foreign agent. In a retaliatory move, Putin signed a bill into law last weekend that will require certain foreign media outlets in Russia, including U.S. government-funded news agencies, to be listed as foreign agents.
