Following a meeting with Putin, Serbia’s pro-Russian president, Tomislav Nikolic, said Putin will continue supporting Serbia’s claim to Kosovo, RFE/RL reports. Belgrade relies on support from Moscow to prevent Kosovo from joining the UN. However, Belgrade also needs to normalize its relations with Pristina in order to join the EU.
