Russian opposition leader calls on Kadyrov to step down

Russian opposition leader Ilya Yashin released a report on Tuesday that describes Chechen strongman Ramzan Kadyrov as a threat to national security. Police interrupted Yashin’s news conference after a bomb threat was reportedly called in, the Wall Street Journal reports. Yashin called for Kadyrov to resign and said Putin’s policy of supporting the Chechen leader is “suicidal.”
