Russian hacker Sandworm blamed for Ukraine power outage

U.S. cyberintelligence firm iSight Partners says it is certain the Russian hacking group Sandworm caused a power outage in Western Ukraine, RFE/RL report. The outage affected 80,000 customers on Dec. 23. Sandworm is accused of targeting both Ukraine and the U.S. It is not clear whether the hacking group works directly for the Russian government.
