Greek center-right neck and neck with Syriza as snap election nears

Syriza leader Tsipras’s strategy of calling a snap election to tighten his grip on Greek power appears to be backfiring, the Guardian reports. Disillusioned leftists are leaving Syriza in droves, and center-right party New Democracy is now neck and neck with Syriza in the polls. Less than two weeks remain before Greeks cast their ballots.
