Cleaning products latest to be banned in Russia

Just hours after backing off a ban on Wikipedia access, Russian authorities ordered stores across the country to remove from their shelves detergents, soaps and cleaning solutions that are made by multinational companies, like Proctor & Gamble, RFE/RL reports. Last week, Russia placed bans on California wines and French meats. For several weeks now, Russian authorities have been bulldozing food that has been imported from the West. Additionally, a plan is even in the works to ban all foreign medical supplies and equipment, which could devastate Russians’ health.
