Today’s Zaman reports a video message purportedly released by ISIS is calling for all believers to conquer Istanbul, the city that “the treacherous Erdogan is trying, day and night, to give to the crusaders.” Last month, Erdogan struck a deal with the U.S. to join the fight against ISIS, even though the Turkish president is suspected of collaborating with Islamic State militants to target his enemies in the region.
