Kiev says Russian-backed separatists launched dozens of attacks in a number of Ukraine-controlled locations on Monday and Tuesday, BBC reports. Some of the worst fighting took place north of the strategic port Mariupol. The EU released a statement saying the attacks violated the Minsk ceasefire deal.
