Serbian euroscepticism remains high

A European Commission survey released last week shows Serbians are the most skeptical about EU membership among people in EU candidate countries in the Balkans, Balkan Insight reports. About 42 percent of people surveyed in Serbia said EU membership would be a good thing. Only 22 percent, though, said EU membership would be a negative thing. 77 percent of Albanians support EU membership, as do 57 percent of Macedonians and 50 percent of Montenegrins, according to the survey.
