Era of unsolved murders in Turkey returns under AKP Government

A Zaman piece discusses the growing pattern of unsolved murders, including recent terror attacks, in Turkey under Erdogan and the AKP. Zaman notes the extrajudicial killings have increased significantly since the December 2013 corruption probe which implicated high-ranking AKP members and close affiliates of Erdogan. After the probe went public, Erdogan purged police and intelligence agencies and promoted officers with inexperience and ties to radical organizations.
