Serbian exports to Russia fall steeply

Serbian exports to Russia in the first half of 2015 were 33 percent lower than they were over the first six months of 2014, Balkan Insight reports. The decline in exports occurred even though Serbia was one of the few countries in the region not to impose sanctions on Russia. Serbian officials are attributing to the decrease in exports to exchange rate fluctuations and the decline in the value of the ruble.
