Russian forces kill 8 suspected IS members in North Caucasus

Russia’s counter-terrorism agency says it killed eight militants who swore allegiance to the Islamic State, The Moscow Times reports. The operation reportedly occurred in the North Caucasus Russian republic Inigushetia. One of the militants killed allegedly staged an attack in Chechnya that killed 25 people last December.
