Ukraine says pro-Russia rebels are building a dirty bomb

Newsweek cites Ukrainian security service (SBU) documents in an investigative report on alleged attempts of Russian-backed separatists to build a dirty bomb. The pro-Russia rebels have seized control of a radioactive waste bunker in Donetsk, and the SBU claims it has intercepted communications about plans for a dirty bomb. The SBU documents also state the rebels called for a group of Russian nuclear specialists to have access to the site.
