Ukraine court permits self-rule for pro-Russia rebels

Ukraine’s constitutional court ruled that Kiev can grant partial autonomy to pro-Russian separatists in the east, AFP reports. The Minsk agreement signed by both Poroshenko and Putin calls for the separatists to get partial autonomy. Many in Kiev oppose the idea, though, and don’t believe it will stop Russian aggression in Ukraine. The Ukrainian parliament will soon vote on granting limited self-rule to the separatists.
