Even following Obama’s nuclear deal, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khameni said Iran’s opposition to the “arrogant” United States will not change. Kahmeni’s remarks were greeted with chants of “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.” Khameni also said Iran’s Middle East policies will not change, and Tehran will continue to back its allies, which include Hizballah, the Assad regime and “the oppressed Palestinian nation,” RFE/RL reports.
