Greek crisis threatens to become crisis in Georgia, too

Greece is second only to Russia as a source of remittances to Georgia, RFE/RL reports. About 50,000 to 200,000 Georgians are currently living and working in Greece. Many of the Georgian workers now face potential layoffs, and capital controls are preventing them from sending money to their families.
