Macedonia opposition: snap election deal is dead

Macedonian opposition leader Zoran Zaev said Wednesday that the agreement with Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski to hold snap elections next April is dead, Balkan Insight reports. Gruevski has refused to step down and let a transitional government take over. Zaev is vowing that protests will resume, as will the release of recorded conversations showing abuses of power by Gruevski and his government.
