Turkey aids financing of Bucharest’s first mosque

Turkey’s Presidency of Religious Affairs is helping finance the construction of a mosque in Bucharest that will be one the largest in Eastern Europe and will house a library and Koranic teaching school, Balkan Insight reports. Under Erdogan, Turkey is trying to build mosques all over the world. In exchange for Romanian government approval of the mosque, Turkey has agreed to let Romania build a church in Istanbul.
