New opposition protests in Macedonia follow violent clashes

Macedonian opposition supporters protested in Skopje for the second consecutive day on Wednesday. A protest over the alleged coverup of a police killing turned violent on Tuesday night. Gruevski and other top government officials are accused of numerous abuses of powers, ranging from mass surveillance to election rigging. Opposition leaders have for months been leaking wiretapped conversations that purport to show the government engaged in illegal behavior.
