In an interesting interview with Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (rferl.org), former KGB general Oleg Kalugin claims that Alexander Litvinenko was murdered because he revealed details of Putin’s personal life. Also claims that at the time Putin became the chief of FSB he was only a major, rather than general as that post required.
