Romanian President Klaus Iohannis has announced that he has reached a political consensus to boost Romania’s military spending to the NATO minimum of 2 percent of GDP. Iohannis said in a speech in Bucharest that Romania must support its neighbor Ukraine against Russian aggression, which has created the “biggest security challenge” for Europe since the Cold War.
