A van driver who had been under surveillance since 2006 for radical Islamist activities tried to blow up a French factory Friday by ramming the vehicle into an area containing flammable liquids. The Islamist’s boss, the owner of the factory, was then found beheaded alongside flags containing Arabic inscriptions, the BBC reports.
