Staying away from Moscow’s Victory Day parade

Carnegie’s Judy Dempsey writes that the choice of most world leaders, including most European heads of state, to not attend Russia’s Victory Day parade on Saturday signifies a rejection of Putin’s nationalism and a rejection of his rewriting of history to justify the invasion of Ukraine as an antifascist campaign. Even North Korea’s Kim Jong In, who previously committed to attending, is skipping out on the parade.
