Bosnia clinches 550 million euro deal with IMF

The IMF has agreed on a new lending program to Bosnia that is worth 550 million euros, Balkan Insight reports. The 550 million euros will be disbursed over three years. The loan will mature in 13 years and will have a 4.5-year grace period. Bosnia lost its IMF financing in 2014, but Bosnian officials have since pleased the IMF by adopting labor legislation and closing a bankrupt government-run bank in Bosnia’s Serb entity.
