A New York Times investigation reveals that extremist clerics trained and funded by Saudi Arabia are promoting jihad and Sharia law in Kosovo. Since the end of Serb rule in Kosovo, Saudi Arabia has funneled money into the Balkan state, not only funding extremist preachers and Islamic organizations, but also bribing impoverished Kosovars into adopting radical Islam. In the last two years, Kosovo has had at least 314 of its citizens go off to join the Islamic State — the highest number per capita in Europe.
