Russian soft power gaining strength in Serbia

A recent report by the Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies states Russia is using soft power to promote Russian-style authoritarianism in Serbia and to oppose Belgrade’s EU accession and partnership with NATO. Moscow’s soft power is having an effect on Serbians, particularly Serbian youth, largely due to the abundance of Russian propaganda in Serbia and because corrupt Serbian officials prefer Russian-style governance.
