Bulgaria asks EU for ‘plan B’ if Turkey abandons refugee deal

Bulgaria has asked the EU to create a backup plan to prepare for the event that Turkey scraps its migrant swap deal with the EU, EurActiv reports. On Sunday, Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov was inspecting Bulgaria’s border fence with Turkey, which only covers a portion of the border. Erdogan has threatened to send refugees on buses to Bulgaria and Greece.
