Kurdish militants claim Turkey car bomb attack

Voice of America reports the Kurdistan Freedom Falcons, or TAK, have claimed responsibility for Sunday’s bombing in Ankara that killed 37 people. TAK’s website says the bombing was aimed at those responsible for Turkey’s military operation in the Kurdish region of the country. TAK previously claimed responsibility for last month’s Ankara bombing that killed 29 people, but Turkish officials dismissed the claim, saying Syrian Kurds carried out the attack.
