Cyprus and Spain cast doubt on EU-Turkey migrant deal

EU states Cyprus and Spain are objecting to Brussels’ planned migrant swap deal with Turkey, EU Observer reports. Cyprus objects due its ongoing conflict with Ankara, and Spain is opposing the deal on humanitarian grounds. Ankara may have to reach a separate agreement with Nicosia in order for the EU-Turkey deal to move forward.
