Bulgaria raises new problems with EU-Turkey deal

Politico reports Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov has sent a letter to EU Council President Donald Tusk expressing concern the EU’s migrant deal with Turkey will cause new migrant routes to open, including ones through Bulgaria. Borisov said the EU’s deal with Turkey should not just involve the asylum seekers on the Greek islands. Bulgaria’s premier also expressed concerned about Brussels’ plan to expedite Turkey’s visa-free travel to the EU.
