Russia’s Gazprom cuts gas supplies to Turkey by 10 percent

Gazprom cut natural gas supplies to private sector companies in Turkey by 10 percent earlier this month, Reuters reports. The Russian energy giant cut supplies after Turkish companies refused to pay higher prices. Ankara and Moscow had initially reached a deal for a 10.25 percent price cut, but Russia cancelled the agreement after Turkey shot down a Russian warplane over the Syrian border.
