EU foreign policy chief Frederica Mogherini announced Monday that Bosnia has officially applied to join the EU. Diplomats in Brussels said Sarajevo may not have even met all of the conditions required to submit an application, The Independent reports. Now, Kosovo is the only remaining Balkan state that has yet to apply to join the EU.
