Medvedev would not acknowledge Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Instead, he was fixated on Europe’s problems, i.e. weakening business ties with Russia and a new Cold War. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said European sanctions on Russia must remain in place as long as necessary.
