Turkey’s haunted border with Syria

Turkish columnist Burak Bekdil writes for the Gatestone Institute that Erdogan and PM Davutoglu are now paying the price for their attempts to install an Islamist, Muslim Bortherhood-type Sunni regime in Syria in place of Assad. Turkey faces numerous threats on both sides of its border with Syria, and the threats have been compounded by Russia’s involvement in the Syrian war, Bekdil states.
