Zaman chronicles the rising violence in and around Turkey. Over the past week, Turkish forces have launched raids on Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) militants in Northern Iraq and Southeastern Turkey. PKK terrorists have responded by shooting and killing several Turkish police and paramilitary officers.
