A Bloomberg piece argues that the jihadi threat has become a time bomb for Putin. Russia now supplies more jihadists to Syria and Iraq than any other country outside the Middle East and North Africa. There are now about 1500 to 17000 Russian nationals fighting alongside IS. Eventually, those fighters will return home to the North Caucasus.
