India has exposed Russian claims to be makers of modern weapons

Russia has boasted that India has bought $ 15 billion of Russian weapons in the last three years and is ready to buy Russia’s upgraded Tunguska-M1 and Shell-C1 complexes. Officials from the Russian military complex have announced that they will soon be exporting the self-propelled “Breakthrough” (T-90M) tank, and in 2020-2021 the army will have C-500 anti-aircraft missile systems.

Just days ago, it became clear that India had refused to buy upgraded Tunguska-M1 and Shell-C1 complexes from Russia, replacing them with products from South Korea. It is no secret for specialists that the breakthrough self-propelled tank technologically represents a modernized version of the T-72 tank, developed in the late 1960s, during the Soviet Union. And hopes the Army has a C-500 this year are more than optimistic. Apparently, Putin’s propaganda machine works in the spirit of the good traditions of North Korean autocrats, who said that “as a result of a single „Sarmat“ missile strike on American territory, 35-37 million US citizens may die in the region.”
