Prague: The city watching out for Russian and Chinese spies

The BBC covers a report released by Czech counter-intelligence, which warns of intensified espionage activity by both Russia and China in the Czech Republic. As many as 40 percent of the Russian diplomats in the  Czech Republic could be spies or passing on information to Russian intelligence, Czech officials say. Meanwhile, Czech intelligence are warning that Chinese career diplomats and businessmen represent the same risk as intelligence officers and that Beijing, like Moscow, is trying to undermine the EU. But China’s espionage activity is more focused on stealing business and particularly technological secrets.
