Hague tribunal acquits Vojislav Seslj of war crimes

The UN court in the Hague acquitted Serbian ultranationalist Vojislav Seselj of all the war crimes charges he faced, Balkan Insight reports. Seselj was accused of murder, persecution and expulsions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia. Seselj has been in Belgrade since 2014 when he was granted temporary release from detention to undergo cancer treatment. Since his release, he has continued to lead nationalist protests.
