Russia names Boris Nemtsov murder mastermind, allies see cover-up

Russia announced plans to file charges against five men suspected of killing opposition leader Boris Nemtsov, Reuters reports. Moscow also named Ruslan Mukhudinov, a former officer in Chechnya’s interior ministry, as the mastermind of the assassination. Nemtsov allies are rejecting the claim that Mukhudinov was the mastermind and are calling for the questioning of higher-ups like Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov.
